2004.12.16 Recall: Inverawe Smokehouses Smoked Trout

The following statement has been issued by the producer:

Inverawe Smokehouses are recalling batch 1865 Whole Smoked Trout and Smoked Trout Fillets, sold through retail outlets nationwide.

Both products are sold as variable weight. The use by date on the product is between 9 to 23 December 2004.

Due to a processing fault, the product does not meet our usual high standard, and must not be eaten.

Please discard any packs and a full credit will be given by Inverawe Smokehouses.

This recall does not effect products sold through Inverawe Smokehouses Mail Order operation.
