Coors Brewers announces the recall of the following bottled product; Reef 700ml Orange & Passionfruit, with a best before end date (BBE) 31/05/06. Only bottles dated with this BBE date are potentially affected. The best before date is featured on the shoulder of the bottle in black ink.
This recall follows the identification of technical problems with a small number of Reef 700ml Orange & Passionfruit, where excessive carbonation has led to bottle failures, creating a risk that some bottles may explode on handling. No other flavours or bottle sizes of Reef are affected.
If you have bottles with this best before date, please handle with care and contain in a plastic bag, making note of the best before and batch information on the shoulder of the bottle and call the free phone number 0800 371166 for further advice.
Please do not take bottles back to the place of purchase.
