PRODUCT RECALL
FINDUS GOURMET 6 SALMON SKEWERS 360g
As a precautionary measure Findus Ltd has taken the decision to recall all packs of its Gourmet 6 Salmon Skewers.
Routine tests have found the products to contain an extremely low level of crystal violet - a chemical dye prohibited from use in food manufacturing processes. At the level detected, which is extremely low, the health risk to consumers is likely to be very small, but nevertheless our advice is to refrain from eating the products.
The affected product was sold in the UK via Tesco and Farm Foods and also in the Republic of Ireland via Dunnes Stores.

Although the contamination is at a very low level, consumers who have already purchased the product are advised to throw them away. For a full refund consumers are asked to cut out and send the panel containing the lot codes to the following address:
