Product Recall

Wells and Young’s has announced today a precautionary recall of beer bottles produced since 4 January 2011 due to a quality issue which could result in small fragments of glass being found in a small number of bottles.

This does not affect any other Wells & Young's beers including cans, casks or kegs. There have been no reports from consumers and this was identified by our internal quality checks.

The bottles of beer affected are:

Only bottles bought with the above lot codes and best before end dates are affected.

The lot code and best before end date can be found on the shoulder of the bottle stamped in white ink. The potential risk of glass in bottles is extremely low, however consumer safety is our number one priority and that is why we have made this decision.
