The following notice has been issued by the MHRA:
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has asked people to check whether they have been dispensed cartons of the opioid withdrawal drug, Natzon 0.4 mg Sublingual Tablets from two batches, 13D22 and 13D24. Due to an error at the carton printers, a small numbers of packs may contain Buprenorphine 8 mg Sublingual Tablets in Natzon 0.4mg cartons.
Two packs have been identified to date, and a maximum of 300 packs across the two batches may be affected. Natzon 0.4 mg and Buprenorphine 8 mg are used to treat recovering drug addicts and helps to combat withdrawal symptoms.

Any patients with the affected product should return them to the pharmacy, clinic or dispensing doctor where they obtained them from for a replacement. If anybody has any concerns regarding Natzon then they should contact their doctor.
