Z.P.H. EDMAL is recalling its Chrzan Tarty Horseradish because the product contains sulphites, which are not mentioned on the packaging. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites.


Product name: EDMAL Chrzan Tarty Horseradish
Pack size: 290g glass jar
Dates on the product appear as: 'NP 17/11/15' (this means the product was produced on 17 November 2015) and 'DW 17/05/2016' (this means display until 17 May 2016)


Allergen: sulphur dioxide or sulphites

The product contains sulphur dioxide making it a possible health risk for those with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites.

If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites do not consume it. Instead, return the product to the store from where it was bought.


The company is recalling the above product. The company has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

No other products are known to be affected.
