The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:
Consumers should be aware that an unregistered and unapproved Food Business Operator (FBO), Zak Ices, Belle Vue Street, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 7DD has been producing ice cream using an approval code of UK KM058 EEC which previously belonged to a another company and was withdrawn in 2007.
The FBO is also producing Ice cream in the name of 'Lucky Gold Leaf', using the same approval code of UK KM058 EEC. Whilst we have had sight of an old distribution list of ice cream supplied by Zak Ices (or Lucky Gold Leaf), investigations by Kirklees Council have confirmed that some of these businesses have recently been supplied ice cream by the FBO.
The products identified so far are listed as below, but other flavours could be available.

The ice cream is being produced at an unregistered and unapproved premises and therefore it is not known what production and hygiene procedures are taken place at the premises.
Advice to consumers
If you have bought any of the above products, do not consume them.
Action taken
Kirklees Council have contacted the businesses located in Kirklees and removed the products where found.
