Reason for recall
Due to a labelling error, Mullaghmore Bakery are recalling the below mentioned products as there is no reference to (egg) as an allergen in the ingredient declaration.

Dated before and including: "Best Before 04 Jul 18"
All 4 Cherry Scones
Dated before and including: "Best Before 04 Jul 18"
All 4 Wheaten Scones
Dated before and including: "Best Before 04 Jul 18"
Risk statement
These products contain egg making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg or egg constituents.
Action taken by company
All stores contacted and asked to remove all scones from shelves.
Notice sent to all stores
Liaising with Environmental Health in regard to this issue.
Advice to consumers
If you are allergic or intolerant to egg do not consume any of the above products, instead return the product to store where it was purchased for a full refund.
