The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:
Waitrose is recalling Waitrose Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup, and Waitrose Roasted Tomato, Bean and Quinoa Soup because some of the pots have been filled with an incorrect product which contains soya that is not mentioned on the labels. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.

Action taken by the company
Waitrose is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought either of the above products and have an allergy to soya do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
