Mayhem True Wireless Ear Buds (381773 and 660370)
Unfortunately, we have become aware that the charging cable for the Mayhem True Wireless Ear Buds could overheat. This poses a safety risk during charging so we have made the decision to recall the above items.
In addition to this, the bud of the ear piece can become detached, exposing the wiring and battery, which means the construction quality of this product is unacceptable.
Mayhem bought these products from suppliers who provided testing certificates stating that the product was safe. The Mayhem True Wireless Ear Buds do not all meet these standards however - they are working with their suppliers to investigate how this happened and to make sure it does not happen on future products of this type.
As the Mayhem True Wireless Ear Buds do not meet the strict standards expected from Next, we have taken the precaution of recalling them, and request that you return the Mayhem True Wireless Ear Buds to Next immediately for a full refund.
Please call us on 0333 777 8185 to arrange a collection, or return it to your local store (for a full refund), if this would suit you better. If you have given any of these items as a gift, please ask the recipient to contact Next.
