Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the live and neutral pins are too short and do not meet the dimensions of BS 1363. The product does not provide the level of earthing protection required and so could arc, causing sparks which could potentially cause a fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
