The Mayoral charities for 2025 to 2026

Each year the Mayor selects charities to support during their time in office, both by promoting them and by raising funds. In 2025 to 2026, The Mayor of Bromley Councillor Jonathan Andrews has chosen The Maypole Project and CASPA. There will be opportunities to donate and support at events throughout the year.

The Maypole Project

The Maypole Project offers psychological and social support to children with complex medical needs and their families. From diagnosis onwards, they support the entire family network, including parents, carers, siblings, and extended relatives through a range of services. These include counselling and play therapy for children and young people, and adult counselling for individuals and couples, all of which are designed to complement each other and offer comprehensive family support.

CASPA

CASPA runs vital social clubs and activities in the borough of Bromley to provide autistic people with a safe community to develop relationships, practice life skills, learn to self-advocate and try new activities. These serve as a lifeline for both the members and their families - not only for the fun activities and learning, but for the community, support and resources that are essential to navigating the world as an autistic person and family.
