2017.12.11 Recall: Ridiculously Rich by Alana - varieties of cakes

The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:

Ridiculously Rich by Alana is recalling the cakes listed below because some allergens have not been listed and others have not been correctly declared. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya, egg or peanuts, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat, barley and oats (gluten) and/or a sensitivity to sulphites. Please see the table below for details.

These products contain Soya, Wheat and Peanuts making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya or peanuts, nuts, eggs or an allergy or intolerance to wheat, barley, oats (gluten), milk and/or a sensitivity to sulphites.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought any of the above products and have allergies to soya, peanuts, nuts, eggs and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat, barley, oats (gluten), milk and/or a sensitivity to sulphites do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Action taken by the company
Ridiculously Rich by Alana is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued correspondence to its customers to explain why the product is being recalled and to tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
