The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:
C&K Meats is recalling Country Style Pork Sausages and Sage & Caramelised Red Onion Pork Sausages because they contain undeclared sulphur dioxide which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites. The product is sold in Asda stores only.

No other C&K Meats or Asda products are known to be affected.
Risk
Sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites
These products contain sulphur dioxide making them a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought either of the above products and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the company
C&K Meats Ltd is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers in Asda stores where the products have been sold.
