AKG N60NCBT Wireless Headphones
As a precautionary measure, AKG is announcing a voluntary recall of N60NCBT Wireless headphones in the European Union (EU) starting 16 February 2018 and ending 1 July 2018.
We have detected that the carrying case of the AKG N60NCBT Wireless headphones in the EU may contain chemicals exceeding the permitted levels under EU regulations. Under certain extreme environmental conditions, the carrying cases could contaminate the AKG N60NCBT Wireless headphones. The headphones are of no health threat to consumers, according to an independent toxicology expert consulted by AKG.
AKG's top priority is the safety and enjoyment of its customers. We kindly ask all customers to return AKG N60NCBT Wireless headphones and carrying cases by completing the form on the AKG website.
This voluntary recall is limited to AKG N60NCBT Wireless and does not impact any other model, such as the AKG N60NC Wired model.
