Broken down vehicles
If your vehicle has broken down, genuinely cannot be moved and is infringing a parking regulation, please contact us immediately giving details of the breakdown and location. Always leave a note on the windscreen, saying why you cannot move the vehicle and add the time and date. Taking these steps may not prevent the issue of a penalty charge notice, but will help to support an appeal against it.
Normally we will allow you 24 hours to remove the vehicle. Failure to move the vehicle within this time will result in the issue of a penalty charge notice.
