Bromley Business Growth
In addition to the £1.6m of direct funding already received, Bromley Council has secured a further £913k through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) for the year 2025/26.
Our UKSPF Supporting Local Business investment priority area is delivered through a number of programmes under our Bromley Business Growth initiative. The following business support programmes are offered fully-funded and free to Bromley businesses.
Growth Builder Programme
The Growth Builder programme is designed to build SME’s confidence and capacity, helping to establish a clear route to growth and sustainability.
Delivered by Goldsmiths, University of London, the programme provides fully funded, comprehensive support to Bromley businesses through core workshops covering eight essential business areas (finance, marketing, branding, sales, operations, leadership, technology, compliance), monthly business breakfast problem-solving sessions, creative collaboration workshops, targeted mentoring, and access to digital resources.
As part of Growth Builder, up to 15 businesses can access additional support through Bromley’s first Accelerator Programme, an exclusive 6-month strategic development journey (September 2025 to March 2026), featuring monthly group sessions, expert mentoring, and peer learning focused on business transformation and innovation.
Growth Builder is run by Goldsmiths, University of London, with activities offered online and in-person at Contingent Works in Bromley town centre.

Supply Bromley Programme
The Supply Bromley programme is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a focus on under-represented businesses, become ready to supply to local or national buyers and anchor institutions.
The programme, delivered by Newable, aims to help SMEs gain new skills or knowledge in order to open up supply chain or procurement opportunities with new buyers, and access new markets. It also helps them understand public sector procurement through bespoke advice from expert business advisers, alongside the opportunity to meet new potential buyers at exclusive 'Meet the Buyer' events.
