Please use this form if you are proposing to hold an event which involves a large gathering of people in the London Borough of Bromley. The Safety Advisory Group (SAG) would like you to provide basic details of your event.
This will allow the SAG members to assess your event and advise whether a formal SAG or Event Safety Team (EST) needs to be set up for your event.
Please complete this form as soon as possible, you do not have to wait until the details for your event are finalised.
Please note; Notification of an event on this form does not imply or grant permission to use any land or premises. This must be obtained separately and directly with the owner, landlord or agent. Proof of authority to use the premises or site may be requested by the Safety Advisory Group at an early stage in the event process.
Important - Licensing requirements
Notifying the council of your event is an important part of the planning process; however, it does not in itself grant permission for any licensable activities.
Event organisers remain responsible for ensuring that all necessary permissions and licences are obtained where required. This includes, for example, a premises licence or Temporary Event Notice (TEN) under the Licensing Act 2003 for the sale or supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment, or late-night refreshment.
You should ensure that any required applications are submitted separately and within the relevant statutory timescales, as failure to do so may result in enforcement action, or the event being unable to proceed.
Maximum total file size must not excee 15MB.
