These sessions are only for prospective or existing childcare providers and provide information and advice on Free Early Education Funding.
In order to be able to offer 2-year-old funding or 3 and 4-year-old universal or extended entitlement all registered childcare providers (day nurseries, pre-schools, childminders, out of school clubs and holiday schemes) must:-
- attend an FE Information Session
- provide a Funding Admission Policy
- sign an FE Grant Agreement
- complete a BACS form
Newly registered childcare providers will not be able to backdate their claim to include a period which is prior to the date of their registration or the date when they signed the FE Grant Agreement and completed the BACS form. Depending on the timing of the registration; newly registered childcare providers may not receive any funding until the end of the term in which they make their first claim.
