Bromley Children's Executive Board

In Bromley we have high ambitions for our children and young people

Key partners across the borough have joined together to form the Children’s Executive Board (the borough’s Children’s Trust Board).

The Children’s Executive Board are committed to working together to further develop our partnership practice across agencies, to increase integration of services where it makes sense to do so and to strengthen joint accountability for improving outcomes for local young people. In this regard we do not seek to replicate but to support the ongoing work of our Safeguarding Children Board. We recognise that both strategic and operational collaboration is key to our collective success.

The Children’s Executive Board is a partnership of the following organisations in Bromley:

•    Bromley Healthcare
•    Bromley Parent Voice
•    Bromley Safeguarding Children Board
•    London Borough of Bromley
•    London South East Colleges
•    Metropolitan Police Service (Bromley)
•    NHS Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group
•    Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
•    Primary and special schools head teachers’ forum
•    Secondary schools head teachers’ forum

The Children’s Executive Board brings the organisations together so that they ‘co-operate’ at a strategic level to improve outcomes for children and young people.

To reaffirm the board’s commitment to joint planning and delivery of services to improve the life chances of Bromley’s children and young people, they have produced the Children and Young People's Plan for 2021 to 2024.

The board has the responsibility for developing, producing, publishing, reviewing and monitoring this Children and Young People’s Plan. This Plan is the joint strategy of the partners on how they will work together to improve children’s wellbeing and ensure their safety.
