Pay by direct debit and you could win £5000!
Direct debit is a great way to pay your council tax because:
- It is safe and secure
- It is easy to set up
- It helps you budget
- You don’t have to worry about extra costs for late payment
- This year you could win £5000!
Everyone who pays their 2023/24 council tax by direct debit over 10 or 12 months will automatically be entered into a prize draw where you could win £5000.
You don’t have to do anything except use direct debit to pay your council tax.
The winner will be drawn after 25 March 2024.
If you wish to join this scheme and enter the draw please complete the direct debit form. You don’t need a MyBromley account to request this. Direct debit payments are collected on the first or fifteenth of every month or the first working day following.
Prize draw terms and conditions
To be entered into the prize draw the following conditions will apply:
- You must sign up to pay the 2023/24 council tax by direct debit by 1 June 2023.
- All direct debit payers will automatically be entered into the prize draw provided the 2023/24 council tax is paid in full by 25 March 2024 (this will include any liable resident who pays the 2023/24 council tax by direct debit annually or six monthly).
- The property must be occupied by the person liable for the 2023/24 council tax.
- You must be an individual and not a registered company or charity
- There is only one prize.
- The winner will receive £5,000 into the account they used to pay their council tax by direct debit.
- No alternative prize will be offered.
- The prize cannot be transferred to another person.
- Bromley Council will notify the winner in writing.
Exclusions/exemptions
Any member of the council or its contractors who are directly or indirectly involved with the provision of the council tax service (including elected members) are excluded from this prize draw.
Publicity
We will not use the winner’s personal data in any publicity material without written consent.
