- The Victory Social Club was founded in 1945 after V.E. day by a group of neighbours who wanted to capture the spirit of the day and continue meeting socially. Today the Club continues in its aims to promote a positive, on-going community spirit in the area. It is non-profit making and entirely organised and managed by volunteers and holds a number of events and activities throughout the year. Membership is open to anyone living within a certain distance of the Club House in Kechill Gardens. The Club House and grounds are available for private hire and make an ideal venue for small family gatherings (restrictions apply), social events and meetings. The premises are used on a regular basis by other local clubs and societies and as a community led Club we are always keen to see new groups and activities established in the area. We particularly welcome enquiries for regular sessions from community groups and organisations.
