- Formed in 1934, Rotary Beckenham meets for lunch every week to enjoy good fellowship and usually listen to a guest speaker. We support many local, national and international charities, both by monetary donations and by volunteering. In Beckenham we co-ordinate the Annual Poppy Appeal for the Royal British Legion, and arrange a major fund-raising appeal at Christmas for local Childrens Charities. There is an active and varied social programme, usually linked to fund-raising for our charitable causes.
