- We are a small but growing conservation group who look after the natural habitats for wildlife at Whitehall Recreation Ground in Bromley Common. We are funded by 'The friends of Whitehall Park' who have a committee and liaise strongly with IDE VERDI who are the park maintenance sub contractors to Bromley Council. We have our own tools. We are all volunteers but every other week a staff member from IDE VERDI joins us to advise and command with their expertise on Green public spaces and the wildlife there in. A typical task morning starts at 10:45 and ends at 2pm. A wider range of activities are planned for the future. We are happy to embrace people who have sensitive mental health issues as long as it is safe for them to work with us and they are capable to manage garden tools and care for themselves in an independent manner.
