- St Mary's Shortlands has a large church hall as well as several different sized meeting rooms that are available to hire. This is the only church hall for hire in Shortlands. The main hall can accommodate celebrations, parties, meals, training events or even putting on a show to an audience as it has a stage area. There is a well equipped kitchen, cloakroom and toilet facilities. The main hall is wheel chair accessible. The church hall is in close walking distance of Shortlands station and has a bus stop outside the church itself. There is a wooded area outside the main hall which is accessible from doors from the hall; this is fenced in, to allow children to play outside. Other rooms are available for dance and exercise classes, meetings or smaller gatherings. We offer competitive rates for one off bookings and discounts for regular bookings.
