The Cockpit is located on the first floor of the Library and is air-conditioned. It has a room capacity of 25. Meeting facilities include tables and chairs. Flipcharts are available to hire.There is a car park at the rear of the library and street parking is available in Church Road. A disabled lift is also provided into the building.
Extra facilities in the building include a 25 metre, 6 lane swimming pool and a cafe offering teas, coffees and snacks operated by Mytime Active.
