The Hayes Symphony Orchestra is a friendly amateur orchestra based in South East London.
We are a very welcoming and inclusive orchestra, made up of players of all ages from students to senior citizens.
We play full orchestral music, mostly from the classical and romantic periods, as well as some baroque and modern pieces, including film scores. HSO give three to four concerts a year, each with nine weekly rehearsals on a Wednesday evening.
There is no formal audition however, you really should have huge amounts of enthusiasm, be keen to have fun and try new/challenging repertoire and some sight reading skills are a bonus!
