You can access free contraception in several ways in Bromley:

Sexual Health Bromley – emergency contraception: some community pharmacies can provide oral contraception and oral emergency contraception without the need to contact a GP, attend a sexual health contraception clinic, or obtain a prescription.

NHS – find a pharmacy: NHS will give details of the nearest pharmacy to you by postcode which provides this service.
NHS – find a GP service: All GP practices in Bromley provide basic contraceptive health services to their patients, including the contraceptive pill and contraceptive injection, as well as referral for abortion. Contact your GP to find more information on the services they offer.
Free condoms (these schemes are available for Bromley residents):

STIs and screenings
STIs: (sexually transmitted infections): there are many types of STIs that can show different symptoms for each person, and some STIs show no symptoms at all. So, if you are sexually active, a regular sexual health check-up is recommended.
NHS protect against STIs: if you are 16 to 24, you are more at risk of getting an STI, so check out the advice here from the NHS to keep yourself safe.
Sexual health clinics: free and confidential sexual health and HIV service at the walk-in clinic at Beckenham Beacon.
Chlamydia Screening: SH:24 provide a free service for 16 to 24-year olds, providing at-home testing kits for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea.
STI screening: free service for over-16s, providing at-home testing kits for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
HIV:
It is very important that HIV is diagnosed as early as possible so that anti-retroviral (ART) medication can be started as soon as possible.
Medication currently available can help most people feel well and expect to live a normal life span.
