B&Q have identified a potential safety issue with the Barcelona Wooden Garden Hammock offered for sale from March 2005 to September 2007.
Please note only the product pictured is at risk. All other garden furniture sold by B&Q is unaffected.

It has been brought to B&Q's attention that there has been instances where water damage has caused deterioration of the timber frame. This may cause a weakness in the wood around the metal socket at the base of the hammock frame. This may lead to the hammock frame breaking whilst in use, resulting in injury to the user.
If you have purchased this product between March 2005 to September 2007 please stop using immediately and urgently contact the helpline 0845 609 6688 or return it to your local store where a full purchase price refund will be given.
