As part of our routine quality assurance program unacceptable levels of a chemical that maybe unsafe for young children has been discovered in one of the samples sent for additional testing.
Despite having only one failure reported we take the safety of our customer’s children very seriously therefore we are asking you to return these items to us as soon as possible.
We remain committed to the highest levels of product quality and safety, and apologise and regret the inconvenience this will cause. Rest assured all necessary action is being taken to eliminate the problem for next year.
What You Should Do
If your glove has a black interior then return the item to your nearest Poundland store as soon as possible.
If you have brought this product for someone else or know someone who has one from either Halloween 2009 or 2010, please let them know about this notice as soon as possible.
