Crompton Lamps Ltd is notifying the public that we have announced a voluntary recall of the following products due to low-voltage shock risk. Consumers should stop using the products immediately.
Please isolate the mains supply before inspecting or removing any lamps
Name of Product: Crompton Lamps Ltd LED Dimmable GLS Opal 14W, product codes LGBC14WW-DIM, LGES14WW-DIM, LGBC14DL-DIM and LGES14DL-DIM with manufacturing date codes of 3214, 3114 or 1714.
Units: 13168 UK (combined total)
Manufacturer: Crompton Lamps Ltd
Fault: A wire in the lamp’s housing can be faulty and presents the risk of electrifying the lamp’s casing posing a low-voltage shock risk.
Affected Models: This recall involves Crompton Lamps Ltd LED Dimmable GLS Opal 14W with either a BC-B22d bayonet cap or an ES-E27 screw cap. The lamps involved can have a colour temperature of 3000K Warm White or 6000K Daylight. The lamps are white in colour with a
cast metal casing and plastic diffuser.
