Clif Bar is recalling its Builders Chocolate Mint Protein Bar as it may contain peanuts and nuts not mentioned on the label, and barley, rye, wheat and milk not correctly declared. This means it's a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or nuts, and an allergy or intolerance to some cereals containing gluten (barley, rye, wheat), and/or milk or milk constituents.

Peanuts, nuts (including almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, and walnuts, certain cereals containing gluten (barley, rye, wheat) and milk or milk constituents.
This product may contain peanuts and nuts making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or nuts. It may also contain traces of barley, rye, wheat and milk which makes it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to certain cereals containing gluten (barley, rye, wheat), and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to peanuts and/or nuts, an allergy or intolerance to certain cereals containing gluten (barley, rye, wheat), and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Action taken by the company
Clif Bar & Company is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
