The product is marketed for use on an angle grinder, which converts the product into a hand-held circular saw. The relevant standard requires that instruction manuals for angle grinders specify that the product should not be used with a chain or toothed saw blade, as this can cause a kickback or loss of control over the power tool. If a chain saw blade is used with a hand-held angle grinder, this can result in serious injuries. When the blade is used in an angle grinder, as advertised, this creates a machine that does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
