Product description
Collection of boxed hand puppets in the form of plush toy wild animals.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of choking as the ears of the puppet can easily detach due to insufficient seam strength, providing access to internal fibrous fillings. A young child may put a small part in its mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, so the filling can block the child?s airways. The detached ear constitutes a small part which presents a choking hazard. The product also requires improvements to labelling and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Amazon).
