The product presents a serious chemical risk as it was found to contain 5.0% w/w hydroquinone. The ingredients list did not state the presence of hydroquinone. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling. Hydroquinone is a skin sensitiser and may cause allergic contact dermatitis.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.
