Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock because the plug face does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The live and neutral pins are below the minimum permitted tolerance and are too close to the plug periphery. A user could accidentally grip the plug and touch the neutral pin, leading to electric shock. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
