Product description
A small desk fan heater with wall plug attached.
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the plug pins are too narrow and do not conform to the dimensional requirements of BS1363. The plug fuse does not meet the requirements of BS 1362 as the length of the fuse link and diameter of end cap were below minimum permitted tolerances. This could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. Improvements are also required to product marking and labelling.
This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
