All boats manufactured with a hull identification number (HIN) date before February 2025 (B525) with Gen 2 DTS controls are within scope of this recall. The manufacture date (month, year, model year) is located in the ninth through twelfth positions in the HIN. Please see Annex A in the linked PDF for further details.

Helm system used to control the direction of a boat
Hazard
Mercury Marine has identified the potential for a fault to occur while operating boats with affected Gen 2 DTS or Avator controls. This can occur while shifting into reverse and applying throttle. A horn will sound, and the shifting and throttle commands will be limited.
Corrective action
The products are being recalled from end users.
