Ultraviolet aquarium pond steriliser with wall plug and power supply
Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire and electric shock as it is fitted with a two-pin plug which is not permitted for sale in the UK. If a consumer plugs the product into a UK socket, they may receive an electric shock and/or the plug may overheat, leading to fire. The product is also not supplied with a valid Declaration of Conformity or the required markings and warnings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
