Product description
Aluminium alloy mountain bike pedal in the platform style (non-clip). The product has the "Tectonic logo etched onto the pedal body on the left corner, on the same side as the threaded axle. The pedals were sold in silver, black, orange, purple, and green colours.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries as the pedal axles can crack during use. This may cause the pedal to detach unexpectedly from the crank arm, posing a fall and injury hazard to the user.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users by PNW. We recommend that you stop using the product immediately. PNW have contacted some affected users directly. If you have not received an email, or purchased your pedals through a retailer, please contact info@marchesparts.co.uk to register for replacement pedals.
