The product presents a serious risk of fire as the motor continues to operate when airflow is restricted. This could lead to the product overheating and catching fire. Excessive temperatures were also measured on external surfaces, and improvements are also required to product labelling and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
