Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries as a sharp edge was identified in the folding mechanism. Over time, this sharp edge may wear away the insulation of the product wiring, which could lead to the bike failing during use, potentially causing injuries to the user. Improvements are also required to the product documentation and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
