Product description
White stationary hair steamer.
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the plug face does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and therefore cannot make a secure connection to the socket. The plug fuse also does not contain a ballast and is deemed counterfeit. A compliant fuse with ballast is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions. Without this, the plug may overheat and/or explode.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
