Product description
A red, battery-powered electronically assisted wheelbarrow.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire because it is supplied with a two-pin plug which cannot meet the requirements of BS 1363. The plug has no fuse, which could lead to the plug overheating and catching fire in the event of a fault. Improvements are also required to the products markings, warnings and instructions, and a valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
