Product description
A push button safety (PBS) coupling used to connect portable pneumatic equipment to mains air supply for fixed application and trailing hose applications.
Hazard
The product presents a risk of injuries because the internal mechanism can jam open if the adaptor is inserted sufficiently" out of line." This allows mains air pressure to flow through the coupling while the adaptor remains unlatched.
This product is not compliant with the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The product has been withdrawn from the market pending a redesign. Safety instructions have been updated.
