Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because it has insufficient insulation, specifically between the input and output circuits. Over time, this could lead to the accessible parts of the product becoming live during use, and shocking the user. Improvements are also required to the product labelling and marking, including the provision of a valid Declaration of Conformity and technical documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
