Lambertz is recalling Lambertz Mini Spekulatius and Lambertz Christmas Tree Cookies because they contain allergens which are not declared in English on the label. The affected products were sold in Home Bargain stores.

Risk statement
These products contain barley and wheat (gluten), hazelnuts (nuts) milk, lactose and whey (milk) and lecithin (soya), and they may contain egg, lupin, other nuts, peanuts, and sesame, making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to barley or wheat containing gluten, or with coeliac disease, an allergy or intolerance to egg, milk or milk constituents, an allergy to lupin, peanuts, nuts, sesame and/or soya.
Actions taken by the company
Lambertz is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought this product and have coeliac disease, an allergy or intolerance to the allergens listed above, do not eat them. Instead, return them to your local Home Bargains store for a full refund or contact support@home.bargains if you require further information.
