Hazard
The product presents a risk of injuries because the spool cover on affected units may break and be ejected at high speed during operation. This poses a risk of physical injury to the user and bystanders.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users by Flymo.
Owners are advised to stop using the product, ensure it is unplugged, and return it to the retailer purchased from for a refund, or contact Flymo directly to arrange for collection and refund.
