Arranging a ceremony at an approved venue
Please contact the venue direct to discuss your requirements.
Once you have a provisional booking with the venue, they will contact us at the Register Office to arrange for staff to conduct your ceremony. We will then send a confirmation of your booking and further information to you by post.
The fee for attendance of staff at your ceremony from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 is as follows:
- Monday - Friday, £545
- Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday, £720
The fee for attendance of staff at your ceremony from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 is as follows:
- Monday - Friday, £595
- Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday, £785
Some of our venues offer ceremonies in the late afternoon and early evening, for which an additional fee is payable to those quoted above.
These fees are in addition to any fees charged by the venue for the use of their facilities.
