Children and young people can take part in holiday club places this Summer with the Holiday, activities and food programme (HAF), a series of events organised by Bromley Council and its partners.
The council’s HAF Summer holiday programme will run from Monday 21 July to Friday 29 August 2025 (excluding weekends). Parents and carers can book places for their family for events ranging from physical and sporting challenges to arts, crafts, theatre, science-based workshops, and learning life skills in nature.
Councillor Kate Lymer, Executive Councillor for Children, Education and Families said, “It is fantastic to see HAF return this summer as it is a truly essential programme for those who need it most in our local community. Providing our young people with physical and creative sessions in sports, cooking, health and wellness, arts, and more with nutritious meals each day. Book your place and get your family involved in these fun activities in inclusive settings where children and young people can learn, socialise, and grow together throughout the summer holidays.”
Free places are available for eligible young people aged 5 to 16 who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals, with all programmes providing:
- Free, nutritious meals each day
- Fun, physical and creative activity sessions
- A wide range of exciting activities to suit different ages and personalities
- Opportunities to learn more about food and nutrition for children and their families
Holiday clubs cater for children with low-medium levels of SEN and/or disability and children will be considered by each club on a case-by-case basis. Please ask the clubs directly about the support they offer.
This diverse range of events has been designed to meet the local interests and needs of families in the borough. It will help children and young people to eat more healthily, be more active over the school holidays, take part in engaging and enriching activities, be safe and not socially isolated, have greater knowledge of health and nutrition, and to be more engaged with school and other local services.
Bookings are now open (closing on 25 July). To book your activities, simply browse our programme and contact your chosen providers.
